The Bergen International Festival aims to ensure the most environmentally friendly way of providing all its services.
The Bergen International Festival has been certified as an Eco-Lighthouse since 2022 and works systematically with daily measures to reduce its environmental footprint.
In everyday operations, we implement simple, environmentally friendly measures such as sorting waste for recycling and saving energy. Environmental considerations are also integrated into the procurement guide used for purchasing all types of goods and services.
Considering the environment as a natural and integrated part of the Bergen International Festival’s operations.
Complying with environmental requirements and regulations from public authorities as much as possible.
Identifying and reducing potential sources of pollution.
Striving for efficient energy use and minimising the use of consumables.
Maintaining an HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) handbook that provides good guidelines for daily operations.
