We recommend you buy your tickets online and select E-ticket (“E-billett”) as delivery method. This option is free of charge.
As there is no box office for Bergen International Festival, we are not able to book tickets for you, but we will gladly guide you through the process of purchasing online. Please feel free to contact us on one of the following options:

Unclaimed or canceled tickets will be put up for sale and sold online consecutively. It is therefore possible to check fib.no for available tickets every day up to the event date.
The Festival Ticket Booth
Please visit the festival ticket booth at Festplassen from May 18 to June 2 to buy and collect tickets and get help on how to buy tickets online.
The festival ticket booth is located at Festplassen. In 2020 it will have the following opening hours:

Tickets at the door
Remaining tickets are also sold at some of our venues from one hour prior to the event. Please visit our venue page for information regarding each venue.
Standard prices are stated for each event on the program pages. Please select the price category "Ordinær" when buying standard tickets online.

Persons under the age of 30, at the day of the performance, pay a maximum of NOK 190 for each performance. The under 30 price applies to every venue and all price categories.
For certain performances there are discount tickets available for children, at a maximum price of NOK 100. It is required you buy a ticket for the child even if they sit on an adults’ lap during the performance. If children tickets not avaible , the under 30 price will apply to the performance.

Senior Citizen Card
Persons from the age of 67 or holders of a valid Norwegian Social Security ID are entitled to a 10 % discount on each ticket. Please select the price category "Honnør" when buying senior tickets online.
Groups of ten or more can receive a 10 % ticket discountTickets can be bought at the Grieghallen ticket office or at firstname.lastname@example.org.Final booking and payment must be carried out, without exception, by 8 April at the latest. For reservations made later than the 8 March, a three day reservation deadline apply. You will be charged an additional service fee and delivery fees will apply.
If you are dependent on a companion, free companion tickets are available online, at the Grieghallen box office and at the Festival ticket booth at Festplassen. A valid companion certificate must be presented at the venue. Please select the price category “Ledsager” when ordering your companion ticket online.
For wheelchair users, tickets must be booked via the Grieghallen box office. The festival uses a variety of venues, some of which are older buildings and/or have previously been private homes. Therefore, not all venues are equipped with the same level of accessibility. See our venue pages for accessibility information for each venue.
Activity card for children and young people
Holders of Bergen Municipality's activity card (Aktivitetskort) for children and young people are granted free admission with a companion. Tickets can be collected at Grieghallen box office by presenting the card.
The artist pass grants free entry to 4 events, max. 2 tickets per event, upon availability. The artist pass is for personal use only. Please present your artist pass when collecting the tickets. Tickets must be collected at the Festival Ticket Booth at Festplassen on the day of the event.
The artist pass also gives you the possibility to buy tickets with a 30% discount.

How to proceed if you have received a promotion/discount code:
- Choose seats and price type "Ordinær" and place your tickets in the shopping cart.
- Select shipping options. We recommend E-ticket (“E-billett”), which is free of charge.
- On the " Verification and payment" page, enter the discount code in the " Customer card/Promotion code " field and click the circle icon on the same line.
- Ensure the discount has been applied and the price is correct. Then select "Buy Now".
- Your order confirmation can now be viewed on the screen and you will receive the tickets by email within minutes.

If you buy an E-ticket, you will receive your ticket by e-mail. No fees apply.
You can either print the E-ticket in advance or show it on your mobile phone in the door. Make sure that the brightness is turned up to max when you present your ticket at the door.
If you cannot find the order confirmation with the attached tickets, the reason may be:
- The email address was not entered correctly.
- It has ended up in the junk mail / spam / spam folder.
- Your account has reached its upper storage capacity limit.
The ticket itself is attached to the email as a PDF file. If you cannot open the file, check if the security settings in your email account allow attachments. Your machine must also have Adobe Reader installed to open PDFs.
The Festival's ticketing supplier, Eventim, sends tickets purchased through the Festival webshop or Eventim's own website within 5-7 business days. For tickets sent abroad, a delivery time of up to 14 days must be allowed. The tickets are sent by ordinary letter post to the address you provided at the time of purchase. You will always receive an email confirming when the tickets are sent.
Look in the junk e-mail / spam / spam folder, search for e-mail from email@example.com or log in to "My Festival" in the ticketing system and get your tickets there. If you still have problems accessing the order, contact the festival at firstname.lastname@example.org for a copy. The new tickets will have a new barcode, while the lost ticket will be canceled and can no longer be used as an entry ticket to the event.
Lost tickets bought at a box office or shipped to you
Contact the box office from which you purchased the ticket to get a copy. Fees will apply if you want a copy of a ticket that is sent by mail or purchased in ticket office. For E-tickets, send an e-mail to email@example.com.
Purchased tickets are only refundable if a cancellation has occurred. An event is considered canceled if the planned event did not take place. Changes in the program and/or venue are not considered a cancellation and are not eglible for refunds. As there is no right of withdrawl you cannot get a refund if you should be prevented from attending the event.
If a cancellation occurs, customers are informed via e-mail and/or SMS. Ticket refund or changing the date of the ticket is done as quickly as possible. Service fees and any shipping costs incurred in connection to the ticket purchase are not refunded.
Refund of E-tickets is made to the payment card that was used for the purchase of the tickets. For tickets purchased from other outlets, a refund must be settled within 30 days of the event's original date.
There is no right to withdrawl when buying tickets. Thus, it is not possible to change your tickets to a different event or to a different price category after making the purchase. It is therefore important that you double check the date and other details before you execute the purchase.
We do not refund the price difference if you bought a full price ticket (standard ticket) but are entiteled to a discount ticket. This is only possible when the wrong price is due to a technical error. It is therefore important that you double check the price before you execute the purchase.
- Discounts apply to most events, with the exception of some collaborations.
- For certain events, a restricted number of discount tickets are available.
- When purchasing discounted tickets, you must be able to present a valid ID at the entrance to the venue.
- Discounts cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.
- Always check that the price is correct before making the payment. The festival does not refund the price difference.
- Tickets are not subject to cancellation.
- The festival does not change or cancel tickets.
