  • The Festival programme in Grieghallen

Grieghallen is the Festival's main stage. Get an overview over the Festival programme in Bergen's grand concert hall here.

Grieghallen (Grieg's Hall) is located centrally in the heart of Bergen. The building has a distinctive concrete appearance and is shaped like a grand piano. The concert hall opened in May 1978 and was named after Edvard Grieg, who himself had aspirations to build a concert hall in his hometown as early as 1894.

The 2025 programme at the Bergen International Festival in Grieghallen offers everything from classical masterpieces and grand voices to Faroese metal, Folk music bands, adrenaline-filled street sports, as well as the opening performance and the closing concert. The entire Festival programme at Grieghallen has now been launched. Stay updated with other news via the festival's newsletter.
