The student house is run by a charity and spans three floors. In the building, you will find several bars and venues that are used daily for various debates, concerts, and events. Det Akademiske Kvarter is wheelchair accessible and has an elevator to all floors in the building.

• The Academic Quarter is located in the heart of downtown Bergen.

• We encourage the public to leave their cars at home and use public transportation to get to the city center. See skyss.no for timetables.

• Bergen city bikes are a quick and environmentally friendly way to get around Bergen, and you can find bike parking at Rosenberg Street and by St. John's Church.

PARKING

• It is possible to park at Grieghallen in the Grieg Garage with entrance from Lars Hilles Street or in the City Garage with entrance from Fjøsanger Road.

REFRESHMENTS

• There are two bars in the building open on weekdays.

• Stjernesalen is located on the second floor, and Grøndahls is on the first floor with an entrance from Håkons Street.

• Stjernesalen offers food and drinks. The kitchen closes at 7:00 PM.
