Østre

Østre is a venue for electronic music and other experimental sound based art forms. Concerts at Østre during Bergen International Festival takes place on the second floor, and audience are standing.

Accessibility

Access to the Building
The ground floor of Østre is step-free.

The second floor of Østre can be accessed via an internal staircase or step-free access through an internal lift (110x110cm). Assistance from staff is required to use the lift, so please contact Østre at post@oestre.no if you wish to use it.

The minimum door widths for all doorways on the ground floor are 90 cm, and 80 cm for the second floor.

Toilets
Østre’s toilets are open to all genders, and there is an accessible toilet on the ground floor with a door opening of 90 cm.

Hearing Systems / Induction Loop
There are no assistive systems in use.

Transport and parking

Public Transport
The nearest bus stops are Olav Kyrres gate, Torget, or Festplassen, approximately 300 metres away. The Bybanen stop Byparken is also around 300 metres away.

Parking/Drop-off and pick-up
Cars can stop for drop-off and pick-up in front of the entrance at Østre Skostredet 3. There is no parking available at Østre.

Most events at Østre has an age limit of 18 years. Contact post@oestre.no if you want to fill out an adult supervision form.
