The home of Norwegian composer Harald Sæverud (1897–1992) and his wife Marie Hvoslef.
Today, the estate consists of a museum, a private residence and a large and beautiful outdoor area which is an annual venue for the family day during the Festival. The Bergen International Festival has arranged concerts at Siljustøl since 1994.
Wheelchair access: Limited accessibility. Difficult access with several steep climbs. Access to upper floor concert hall is possible though difficult for small wheelchairs; motorised wheelchairs have access to the ground floor only.

Public transportation: We encourage our audience to leave the car at home and take public transportation. The closest stop on the Bergen City Lightrail is Råstølen. From the light rail stop there is a 10 minute walk to the venue. Find relevant time tables at skyss.no.
Car & parking: Siljustøl is situated a 20 minute drive from the Bergen city center. Cars may be driven to the door to drop off or pick up mobility impaired passengers by prior arrangement with Siljustøl (tel +47 55 13 60 00), but the car must be parked in the car park.
