Valestrandsvegen 325

Ole Bull's second home in Valestrand is open for guided tours in the summer, and is in private ownership of Ole Bull's great-great-great-grandchild.

Sometimes referred to as Norway's first international star, Ole Bornemann Bull (1810–1880) was an renowned violinist worldwide. His villa in Valestrand, Osterøy, was built in 1869, nicknamed 'Bullahuset'. It stands on the property where Ole Bull spent his summers as a child, and the designer behind the building in dragon style architecture was Ole's brother, architect Georg Andreas Bull.
