The hybrid Kenneth Lien & Center of the Universe consists of multi-instrumentalist Kenneth Lien from the trio Ævestaden and Jørgen Skjulstad, also known as DJ Sissyfus. Together, they blend Norwegian folk music and electronica by combining traditional instruments such as the Hardanger fiddle, mouth harp and willow flute, with a drum machine, bass rhythms and synthesiser.
The result is a hypnotic and immersive musical experience.

Kenneth Lien and Jørgen Skjulstad have both released several albums and their first collaboration, the 2023 album Snu hver stein, won music album of the year in the open class category during Folkelarm.
At the Bergen International Festival, the duo will perform at Festallmenningen before they are guests at Tuvas blodklubb at Kulturhuset that same evening.
