The first day of summer with songs of all shapes.
With goosebumps and stars in our eyes, we heard more than 1600 voices blend into a giant choir when the Singalong-concept by Den Nationale Scene was launched at the Festival square last year. At the Singalong you can sing, hum or listen as artists and actors welcome summertime together with experienced musicians.
Come rain or shine, 1 June is considered the first summer day of the year. Onto the outdoor stage at the Festival square, winners of Norway's Got Talent, Musikaljentene, will bring a selection of summer songs. So will actor and musician Teo Tomczuk, known from the play Menn som ingen treng and the NRK TV series Rykter. Hosting the singalong are actors from Den Nationale Scene, and we also receive a visit from Christine Gulbrandsen. Both English and Norwegian songs will be sung in this joyful and diverse mix of genres.
