Mini concerts from children's choirs.
The city is filled with the joy of singing as 18 children's choirs take over the outdoor stage of the Bergen International Festival on this Sunday in May. The Children’s Choir Festival has been a recurring event at the Festival square since 2021, and everyone is invited to the city centre to celebrate with these young songbirds.
This year’s theme is environmental protection, in connection with the United Nations International Year of Glaciers' Preservation in 2025. Children’s choirs affiliated with the membership organisation Ung i Kor-Vest will perform concerts about nature and the planet, each lasting around ten minutes.
The Bergen Children’s Choir Festival consists of two parts: a choir marathon at the Festival square and a closing concert in Spissen in Grieghallen on the same evening.
