Bjørn Tomren is a man of many talents: yodelling, throat singing, he won NRK's Stjernekamp, and has recently showcased his acting in the TV series Våre beste år. 

His partner, Åse Britt Reme Jakobsen, has become his regular singing companion, and her velvety voice plays a central role in Tomren's releases. 

They will both be performing with band at the Festival square in a free concert, demonstrating the duo's musical range and charismatic stage presence. 

– From performing a beautiful country ballad to throat singing and yodelling, it's an achievement at an extremely high level. He does it all with a big heart and a desire to bring joy to others, said the Norwegian Radio Orchestra's project manager Frode Larsen to Romsdals Budstikke. 

Bjørn Tomren and Åse Britt Reme Jakobsen are also on the stage in Radiofantomene in Griegsalen on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th May.
