A voice that enchants.
Eivør Pálsdóttir is one of the greatest artists to have emerged from the small Faroe Islands. Her music is inspired by the traditions and wild landscapes of her homeland, and in recent years, Eivør has moved more towards electronic rhythms and metal, with a Norse foundation.
In 2024, she released her eleventh solo album, Enn.
‘I felt I was making a concept album, in a sense, about the Earth, about our home, our planet. Then it developed into both nature but also human nature—both the outer and the inner landscape, and the struggles of the heart, the struggles between the Earth and humans.’ – Eivør on Enn
The ancient Nordic feel she evokes has resonated internationally, and fans around the world sing along, even without knowing a word of Faroese. Eivør has composed for the TV series The Last Kingdom and Game of Thrones, and provides the vocals for the music in the gaming success God of War Ragnärok.
