A promenade across piano keys.
The Festival square is filled with the music of Grieg, Schubert, and Mussorgsky, performed by pianist Marina Matsuoka. Join in on Monday 26 May for a free concert featuring the lively spontaneity of Grieg’s piano pieces and Schubert’s impromptus, as well as excerpts from Mussorgsky’s musical promenade through an art exhibition.
Pianist Marina Matsuoka has studied in both Tokyo and Bergen and has won numerous national and international awards. Matsuoka is currently a master’s student at the Grieg Academy and will also be performing at the Bergen International Festival with her master’s recital at Universitetsaulaen Friday 30 May.
