A stroke of genius and a pack of scoundrels featuring Vestnorsk Jazzensemble.
The music collective Skurkeklubben's projects have included a large fish smoking cigarettes, music featuring excavators, and fishermen in lifts playing synths. The members have exceptional creativity and are all specialists in their fields: Bjørn Torske, Jørgen Træen, John Hegre, and David Aasheim.
The truly technically competent troublemakers invite you to the commissioned work New shoes!. The music, planned by Skurkeklubben, is performed by some of Norway's leading improvisational musicians. Eight soloists from Vestnorsk Jazzensemble play in their own room on a large double-decker stage. Behind the mixing tables stand Skurkeklubben, controlling who can be heard and seen on stage.
