Explore, create and have fun with natural science.
VilVite fills the Festival square with interactive activities that will get your curiosity and creativity flowing. Experience a science show with a bang – and perhaps you will get to try ice cream made with liquid nitrogen?
At the creative music workshop, you can play with sounds and create music using electronics and unusual instruments. You can also unleash your creativity at the Lego tables or explore energy in a large chain reaction.
Do you want to try out coding? Meet the young people from Kodeklubben Sandsli, who share their passion for programming and technology, and showcase their impressive robot projects. VilVite will also have a number of installations where you can experiment, test and learn about natural science in practice.

Activities
Science show: Experience engaging experiments that both entertain and spark curiosity. The day begins and ends with a science show. The last show includes making ice cream with liquid nitrogen – and taste samples for the audience.
Music workshop: Play with sounds and create music using electronics and surprise instruments, such as gummy bears and glove-o-phones.
Lego workshop: Unleash your creativity! Design and build innovative solutions for the future using Lego.
Chain reaction: Participate in a collaborative project to build a chain reaction that combines physics, creativity and collaboration – a fun activity for all ages!
Coding with Kodeklubben Sandsli: Get to know Kodeklubben Sandsli, a group of young people, who share their passion for technology, programming and robots.
Mobile exhibition: Explore natural science phenomenon through hands-on experiments in our mobile exhibition.
